Thursday 9.30am (UK time)
If you're new to rehab Pilates, 4-6 weeks post op, have a hernia/complex surgery or just want a bit of TLC this is the class for you. A beginner level class, combining elements of Foundations 1 and 2 into the class. Floor/Mat based with some equipment.
Thursday 4pm (UK time)
Intermediate level class progressing the exercises and movements you learned in the Foundations. Ideally attend Foundations TLC LIVE or do the ON DEMAND videos (complete Foundations 2) before doing this class.
Some experience of Pilates is essential.
This is step up class from 'Foundations TLC' and starts to progress towards Intermediate/Advanced.
Start to challenge yourself and incorporate some ‘progressive’ exercises, improving core strength and control. Classes are a mix of standing, kneeling and floor/mat work.
Wednesday 6.30pm (UK time)
Intermediate/advanced class aimed at those who have progressed through the full range of classes and have experience of Pilates. Many modifications will be offered during the class making it suitable for people at both intermediate and more advanced levels. If you're unsure, work through Intermediate Classes 1-3 in On Demand.
Experience of regular Pilates is essential before joining this class. This class include some advanced movements and can be challenging! be prepared to work hard!
Classes are a mix of standing, kneeling and floor/mat work.
BEFORE YOU BOOK...
I know you're excited, but there are a few things to do before you can book a class..
2. Please complete The Ostomy Studio screening new client form.
3. Watch (and do) the 'Principles & Preparation video'. This will mean you're well prepared for class and will get the most out of it.
4. Check the equipment list to see what you need. Purchase items here
If I have any queries that arise from your screening form, I'll be in touch to offer you quick pre-class chat/video call. In some cases, I may need confirmation from your doctor for you to proceed.
Once this is all done.. then you're good to go ahead and book a class. when you book, please be sure to agree to the terms and conditions.
